Severstal Announces Changes to its Senior Management Team PDF Print E-mail

OAO Severstal (LSE: SVST), one of the world’s leading integrated steel and mining companies, announces changes to its senior management team. 

Alexander Grubman, currently CEO of Severstal Resources division, has been appointed as CEO of Severstal Russian Steel. Anatoly Kruchinin, currently CEO of Severstal Russian Steel and the Cherepovets Steel Mill, will be appointed as deputy CEO of SeverGroup. 

Alexander joined OAO Severstal in 2006. Since June 1, 2009 he has held the position of CEO of Severstal Resources. His broad management experience and strong leadership qualities will support the continued development of the division. 

Vadim Larin has been appointed as acting CEO of Severstal Resources. Vadim joined OAO Severstal in 2003. He has held leading management positions within the Company’s coal business. He successfully implemented the cost cutting and efficiency programme. 

These changes will come into effect on September 1, 2010.
