Hana Mining Ltd. announces that Mr. James Sullivan has resigned from his positions as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director, effective immediately.

The Company had previously announced that Mr. Sullivan would be retiring from the Company at the end of 2011.

Mr. Robert Dey, Project Director of the Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project, will assume responsibility for the Preliminary Economic Assessment, and with the assistance of Mr. Fred Stahlbush, VP of Engineering, will manage the project going forward.

Hana Mining's CEO and Chairman, Marek Kreczmer, commented as follows:

"I want to express my sincere appreciation to Jim for the time and effort he put into the Company and the Ghanzi Project. I wish Jim the best in his retirement. I also want to reassure Hana investors that the Ghanzi Project is in good hands as Robert Dey will be leading our efforts to put this potentially world-class project into production. Robert has nearly 30 years of experience as an engineer in the development of mining projects in southern Africa, most recently as Project Director with Impala Platinum Ltd. I have full confidence in Robert and his team to move the project to successful conclusion."
