RUSAL (SEHK: 486), (EuroNext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium and alumina producer, announces the appointment of Andrey Volvenkin as the head of the Engineering and Construction Division. 

Andrey Volvenkin has held various executive positions at RUSAL. From 2003 to 2005 he worked as General Director of RUSAL’s in-house Service Centre. From 2005 he has served as the Equipment Manufacturing and Maintenance Director at RusEngineering Co., which is part of RUSAL’s Engineering and Construction Division. 

In his new position of the head of the Engineering and Construction Division Andrey Volvenkin will be responsible for improving maintenance efficiency across RUSAL’s operations and will supervise construction and modernisation projects. 

The current head of the Engineering and Construction Division Eugueny Fedorov has been appointed to an executive position at Irkutskenergo, a company of Evrosibenergo within EN+ Group, the largest shareholder of UC RUSAL. 

Biography 

Andrey Volvenkin was born in Novokuznetsk in 1964. He graduated from the Ordzhonikidze Siberian Metals Institute in 1987. Mr. Volvenkin began his professional career in 1987 at the Sayanogorsk aluminium smelter, where he served as senior engineer from 1999 to 2002. Between 2003 and 2005 he worked as the managing director of Service Centre, and since 2005 he has been the head of Equipment Manufacturing and Maintenance at RusEngineering Co.
